A Four Letter Word For Network Marketing with Les Brown – 2017 Episode #21
I talked with Les Brown to find out how he would describe Network Marketing. Les said that Network Marketing brings out the entrepreneur in you. He quoted Emerson in saying that this is the “age of self-reliance.” And Network Marketing brings that out of you.
But there are a lot of haters out there who don’t really understand the profession. They think Network Marketing is a “get rich quick” scheme or a pyramid scheme. But it’s not. Network Marketing is a structure that provides coaching. It is not a secret to success, but a system to success. But the system only works if you work it.
Work. That’s a four letter word that most people don’t like. They don’t want to work. Les once tried to help the brother of a friend get off of drugs, but once the brother heard that he would have to do the work, he didn’t want to participate in his own rescue. You’ve got to be willing to do the work, or nothing will work for you.
There are people out there who will be presented with the opportunity to join Network Marketing. These people know that there is no such thing as job security. And yet they still go to work, hoping that they’re not told today is the today they will lose their job. Why do they do that? Because they don’t want to do the work.
